Significant and historic moments happened in the world of Michigan sports. When fans cheered the Wolverines to an epic upset of the Ohio State Buckeyes en route to the Big Ten championship, many saw a TV commercial featuring Trinity Health and our Michigan Region ministries.
And at Little Caesar’s Arena, hockey fans saw digital banners of Trinity Health’s logo ringing the ice during the Detroit Red Wings’ five-game winning streak.
These sightings are significant because Trinity Health’s brand has not appeared so prominently in consumer advertising, until now.
“Although St. Joe’s and Mercy Health anchor one of the largest and most integrated health systems in Michigan, many patients are pleasantly surprised to learn of all the experiences available to them in our network, as members of Trinity Health,” said Tara Geror, Marketing Director of Trinity Health Michigan.
To help connect patients to our comprehensive health system, the Marketing and Communications department launched a new “Power in the Plus” campaign tying our names and brands together. The multi-media campaign will run from November through March 2022 to help increase consumer awareness of our brands and their connection to one another.

It’s time to tell that story.
‘Power in the Plus’ showcases our ministries and how they add up to more value for patients. The Michigan Region has eight hospitals, 12 medical centers, 22 senior living communities, hundreds of physician practices, and multiple home care agencies. When patients see the connections to the full continuum of care, they see value.
“With our enduring Mission and Core Values as the foundation, we are reimagining the future of care in Michigan based on the promise that we listen, we partner, and we make it easy for patients to experience award-winning medicine and unparalleled compassion,” said Julie Washington, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Trinity Health.
