In recognition of the remarkable care our nurses and hospital staff provide, we are inviting colleagues and community members to show “signs” of support and appreciation for National Nurses Week and Healthcare Week from May 4-8.
With your help, we can show our appreciation to front-line workers by lining the sidewalks with “thank You” signs at the entrances of St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and Livingston hospitals. Chalk art is also encouraged at SJMAA. No major artistic talent is needed, just a grateful heart!
Yard art can be dropped off or planted at the following dates and times:
- Sunday, May 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. – St. Joe’s Ann Arbor main hospital entrance. Help create a wave of inspiration through Chalk Art and home-made Yard Signs.
- Sunday, May 3.to Tuesday, May 5 – St. Joe’s Livingston. Let our nurses know you care with signs of appreciation and support. Best placement for your uplifting signs is at the back of the hospital (West Entrance) and the entrance by the loading dock (to the right of the hospital if you are facing St. Joe’s from Byron Road).
When you arrive on campus, we ask that everyone please maintain social distancing, and wear a mask.
Throughout this challenging time, your signs of encouragement and recognition have inspired us all. Let’s keep it going strong with motivational messages for our health care heroes.
