OAKLAND – During the Lenten season, we are called to honor our core value of reverence, and to appreciate the dignity of all people. Last year during Lent, we collected new clothing to stock a Clothes Closet for our patients. Over the past year, your generosity has made a tremendous difference for those we serve, allowing our most vulnerable patients to go home with clothes that are clean and warm.
From February 26 through April 9, we are again collecting new clothing to help ensure that those we care for have appropriate apparel.
Lent can be a time for turning toward God, and caring for those around us. One of the ways we do that is by opening our heart to those most vulnerable. Please consider a donation to our clothes closet as a part of your Lenten observance.
Items can be placed in the collection boxes outside the Chapel, Administration offices, Woodward Professional Building, or in the cafeteria.
